Abstract:
In discussing Hitler's posthumously published "Second Book", notes that Hitler proceeded to do precisely what he promised to do in his writings, and this included his intentions in regard to the Jews. Stresses that current antisemitic discourse, whatever the source (a Malaysian prime minister, university students or teachers, Islamic fundamentalists, leftists or rightists), should be directly challenged by using all available means - political, judicial, and, if necessary, legitimate force. Since antisemitism has been fatal in the past, it may be so again. Jewish conspiracy theories, neo-Nazism, and Islamic fundamentalism are some of the varieties of antisemitism that have to be taken seriously. The failure to identify and denounce antisemitism is tantamount to complicity.
