Abstract:
Discusses special editions of these periodicals produced for the 60th anniversary of the Shoah in Hungary. The articles in "História" deal, inter alia, with the destruction of Hungarian Jews in the rural areas, the deteriorating situation of Jews after 1920, the anti-Jewish laws from 1938 up to March 1944, when the Germans occupied Hungary, life in the ghettos, and the deportations. The "Rubicon" edition focuses on the political history and ideology of right-wing radicalism, and the social make-up and actions of the Arrow Cross movement and party.
