    Abstract: Antifeminismus will die Errungenschaften der (queer)feministischen Bewegungen zurückdrehen: durch Begriffsumdeutungen, Angriffe auf reproduktive Rechte, Ressourcen und Gleichstellungsmaßnahmen. Akteur*innen der extremen Rechten, Konservative und die "gesellschaftliche Mitte" treffen sich in einer Ideologie von Frauen*hass und LGBTIQ*feindlichkeit. Sie vereint der Wunsch nach einer binären Geschlechterordnung und einer Männlichkeit, die gemeinhin als »toxisch« bezeichnet wird. Antifeminismus kann auch tödlich sein: Der Glaube an männliche Vorherrschaft stellt die Basis für sexualisierte Gewalt, Femizide und Terrorismus dar. Paradoxerweise hat die Rechte »Frauenrechte« dort für sich entdeckt, wo die »weiße Frau als Opfer« eine scheinbar neue Mobilisierungskraft entfalten kann: in Kandel, Chemnitz oder Wien. Wo antifaschistische Kritik diese rassistischen Frauenrechtskämpfe als reine Instrumentalisierung abtut, wird verkannt, dass das Engagement rechter Frauen* auch als Selbstermächtigung funktioniert – die jedoch antifeministisch bleibt. Dagegen stellt dieses Buch einen Feminismus, der die patriarchale Ordnung hinterfragt, Männlichkeit nicht heilen will und grundlegend antifaschistisch ist.

    Abstract: How do we individually remember the Holocaust? How do we commemorate it collectively? That is the starting point of the draft of a new theory about memory
    Abstract: Obwohl das Thema »Gedächtnis« Teil eines großen Diskurses innerhalb der Geistes- und Kulturwissenschaften ist, fehlt es bislang an einer Gedächtnistheorie, die einen echten epistemischen Nutzen für die Geschichtswissenschaft aufweist. Mit Hilfe der soziologischen Systemtheorie von Niklas Luhmann überträgt Juliane Reil konstruktive Ansätze aus den Theorien von Jan Assmann, Pierre Nora und Johannes Fried in ein integratives Modell von Gedächtnistheorie. Dabei wird das komplexe Zusammenspiel von Gedächtnisprozessen auf individueller und kollektiver Ebene anhand von prominenten Beispielen des praktischen Umgangs mit dem Holocaust (etwa den vielerorts gelegten »Stolpersteinen«) deutlich gemacht

    Abstract: Bei dieser "Kleinen (Heimat)Geschichte des Rassismus" handelt es sich um das erste Buch überhaupt, das die Entwicklung des Rassismus gezielt aus deutscher Perspektive beleuchtet. Der Herausbildung des an Hautfarben orientierten Rassismus wird dabei ebenso nachgegangen, wie dem Antisemitismus, Antiislamismus, Antislawismus, Antiziganismus und eugenischem Denken. Erst im Verlauf des europäischen Kolonialismus entstanden Formen der Herabminderung, die mit bestimmten Hautfarben verknüpft waren. Sie mündeten schließlich in die von der Aufklärung entwickelte Rassentheorie, wobei deutsche Denker eine bedeutende Rolle spielten. Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde das Rassedenken durch antikoloniale Bewegungen, Bürgerrechtskämpfe und schließlich durch Vernetzungen im Rahmen der Globalisierung zwar diskreditiert, die Entwicklung des Antisemitismus, der als Fremdenfeindlichkeit bezeichnete Rassismus gegen Migranten und schließlich der Antiislamismus zeigen jedoch, dass damit der Rassismus nicht am Ende ist, sondern sich wieder verstärkt jener kulturellen Elemente der Diskriminierung bedient, die er schon in seinen Anfängen benutzt hatte.

Viele erleben die Migrationsbewegung als eine Zäsur, deren Folgen noch längst nicht abzusehen sind. Um zu verstehen, was da in den letzten Monaten eigentlich genau passiert ist, ist Tuvia Tenenbom einmal mehr kreuz und quer durch die Republik gereist. Er wollte wissen, was die wahren Gründe der »Willkommenskultur« waren, warum Deutschland ein großes Herz gezeigt, aber immer noch keinen Plan hat, und wie es hier eigentlich um die Meinungsfreiheit bestellt ist. Seinen Gesprächspartnern – seien es Gregor Gysi, Volker Beck oder Kardinal Reinhard Marx, seien es Frauke Petry von der AfD, Pegida-Gründer Lutz Bachmann oder der geistige Führer der neuen Rechten Götz Kubitschek, seien es Akif Pirinçci oder Jürgen Todenhöfer – hat er unbequeme Fragen gestellt. Die Erkenntnisse, die er dabei gewonnen hat, sind mindestens ebenso verstörend wie seine Besuche in den Flüchtlingslagern, wo er von beschämenden Zuständen berichtet, deren Auswirkungen nicht nur individuell verheerend sind, sondern in nicht allzu ferner Zukunft die gesamte deutsche Gesellschaft betreffen werden.     Abstract: Die Autoren befassen sich mit der nach 1945 marginalisierten Opfergruppe der Sinti und Roma und ihrem Ringen um Anerkennung und Entschädigung. Die zweite Ausgabe der »Fundstücke« beschäftigt sich mit deutschen Sinti und Roma, die als Überlebende des NS-Genozids nach 1945 versuchten, sich im eigenen Land ein neues Leben aufzubauen, oder zu emigrieren. Narrative der Überlebenden in den Dokumenten aus dem Archiv des International Tracing Service (ITS) sowie administrative Akten aus dem ITS verdeutlichen nicht nur, was diese häufig nicht als NS-Verfolgte anerkannten Menschen erlitten hatten, sondern auch mit welchen Vorurteilen und bürokratischen Hürden sie nach der Befreiung konfrontiert waren. Auch die Auskunftspraxis des ITS war ein Teil der langen Marginalisierungsgeschichte der Sinti und Roma. Die in dem Band versammelten Essays richten anhand der Dokumente einen kritischen Blick auf beteiligte Institutionen und stellen sich empathisch an die Seite derer, die zwar überlebt hatten, aber nach 1945 erneut Diskriminierung und Ausgrenzung erleben mussten.
