Abstract:
These two men were non-Jews who joined the plot of a group of Jews to hijack a plane in Leningrad in 1970 and fly it to Sweden. The Jews then planned to immigrate to Israel. The plot was foiled by the KGB, and all the participants were imprisoned. The nine Jews were all released before their time, and immigrated to Israel. Only Fedorov and Murzhenko served their full sentences (14-15 years). In 1988 they emigrated to the U.S.
