Abstract:
Describes resistance activities of the Jewish socialist organization, the Bund, in France during the Second World War, which concentrated mainly on saving Jews, providing food, procuring false Aryan papers, publication of tracts and information bulletins, etc. At the beginning of the war, the Bund was mainly active in Paris, and later in Lyon and Grenoble, where its members also participated in armed actions. Asserts that the Bund's resistance activities were not as important as those of the communist or Zionist groups; however, they should not be forgotten.
