Abstract:
Discusses the notion of Christian supersession of the Jews as God's chosen people, taught through the ages by Christian theologians, and rejects it. Those teachings contributed to the Christian contempt for Jews. Analyzes various texts of the New Testament (among others, the Letter to the Romans) and concludes that interpretations of the New Testament which lead to the theology of substitution are due to the deformation and total perversion of the meaning of the texts and of the Christian faith.
