Abstract:
Presents a blistering criticism of the "Jew of negation", a figure that thrives in intellectual circles, especially in France today. This type of Jew takes assimilation a step further: he cannot utter the noun "Jew" without attaching a negative adjective. He says no to Israel, Jewish bankers, religious Jews, etc., and yes to Palestinians, antisemitic caricatures, theories of a Jewish conspiracy, etc. He goes as far as to deny the noun "Jew" any value; only his own Jewish name has value. Seeing himself as the only innocent Jew in the world, he denounces all other Jews for Israel's crimes, Jewish economic dominion, Zionism, communautarism, and inhumanity. He seeks the approval of French society for his talent, and adds exception and negation to it to protect himself against society's suspiciousness of talented Jews. Warns that his services, now applauded, will soon become redundant, since France has started criticizing and accusing Jews without the "Jews of negation" as intermediaries.
