Abstract:
So, the question that arises is this: by what criteria must we make a good ecclesial discernment to be faithful to the type of Church that Jesus would like today? And we must make this reflection with the Bible as the point of departure since Dei Verbum indicates that the Magisterium “is not above the word of God but serves it” (DV 10). With this in mind, it is clear that the fundamental criterion we must use for ecclesial discernment must be the word of God itself, especially the New Testament, read in the context of the Old Testament
