Antisemitism Philosophy
Abstract:
The philosophers of the Holocaust Zygmunt Bauman and Giorgio Agamben both consider racist antisemitism as "naturalized" or part of the very fabric of the modern era. Agamben's concept of biopolitics implies "thanapolitics", the annihilation of those, like the Jews, who are excluded from the indigenous nation. However, despite this pessimistic view, argues that critical thinking is able to reveal the social reality behind "naturalized antisemitism" and reject the inevitability of destruction caused by politics.
