Abstract: Bivalve remains retrieved from EB II–III Strata at Tel Bet Yeraḥ include specimens originating from the Sea of Galilee and from the Mediterranean Sea. The mollusks indicate the exploitation of nearby sources for food and raw material for fashioning decorative items, as well as long distance trade connections with the Mediterranean coastal region. A broken valve of Glycymeris nummaria, with an artificial perforation in the umbo, was probably collected on the shore and used as a pendant.
