Abstract:
This paper, by the World Council of Churches' Programme Secretary for Christian-Jewish Relations, was read at a seminar for the clergy of the Lutheran diocese of Stockholm, 9 October 1984. Regarding antisemitism, states that "active resistance to antisemitism is a continuing demand upon the Church, one that becomes ever more compelling when we Christians hear from Jews about the subtle ways antisemitism creeps into even the most ’enlightened’ Christian practice".
