Abstract: Based on her doctoral dissertation (Jagiellonian University), examines briefly Polish students' opinions on Jews and the "Jewish question" as expressed in the student press. The nationalist press was the most obsessed with the "Jewish question" and was the most antisemitic. Somewhat mildly antisemitic was the moderately nationalist and Catholic press. The Piłsudskiite press ridiculed the Right's obsessive antisemitism, but also sometimes made anti-Jewish comments. The Left opposed antisemitism, but also opposed Zionism as a solution to the "Jewish question". The Jewish student press was no less varied politically than the Polish one, but the Jewish factions formed a common front of protest on behalf of the rights of Jews.
