Abstract: Describes the aims of "Aloumim", the Israeli Association of Children Hidden in France during the Shoah. The Association was founded in 1993 and has ca. 500 members. It organizes meetings for the members to talk about their traumatic childhoods, and it collects their testimonies. Other goals include obtaining the award of "Righteous of the Nations" for non-Jews who helped Jews to survive, and fighting Holocaust denial through publications about the survivors' experiences. The Association publishes a French-Hebrew bulletin, "Mémoire vive".
