Abstract: A comprehensive commentary on Albert Speer's latest book "Sklavenstaat" (1981), claiming that it makes use of forged documents to demonstrate that Speer played only a minor role in the deportation of Jews to extermination camps, and that he was ignorant of the crimes committed there. Speer made similar statements during the Nuremberg Trials. The main task of Speer, as Minister of Armaments, was to mobilize manpower for the war industry, and he must have known how many Jews died during their employ in forced labor, particularly in the concentration camps.
