Abstract:
Transcription of a lecture delivered by Grossberg at the Literarischer Verein in New York City. The lecture examines Altenbergs works through the lens of his biography and sketches a rich, episodic portrait of Altenberg's life and the milieu of the café culture and literary scene of early 20th century Vienna. Attached to the manuscript are a couple of clippings about the lecture.
