Abstract: Describes the antisemitic bias and aim of 19th-early 20th century German and Austrian anthropology, as exemplified in an exhibition at the Naturhistorisches Museum (Vienna) in spring 1939 and in the museum's research on Jewish prisoners and those of other ethnic groups during the war. An exhibition mounted in 1949 was meant to refute Nazi racist theory, but it made no mention of the Nazis' use of racial theory against the Jews.
