Abstract:
An examination of the three American institutions with the largest rabbinical training programs at the present time: Yeshiva University (Orthodox), the Jewish Theological Seminary (Conservative) and Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion (Reform). Analyzes the faculty, students, curriculum and socialization, with an emphasis on that part of each school which prepares students for ordination.
