Abstract:
Reconstructs, through an exchange of letters between Nicola Ginzburg and his family, his difficulties after having moved to the U.S., because of the Italian Racial Laws in 1938. From the letters that Nicola wrote to his family, still in Italy, we understand that this was a difficult period, and that rarely he could keep in touch with them. After the war, despite the fact that he was admitted to his old job in Italy, he decided to stay in the States, for the wellbeing of his sons.
