Kurzfassung:
Summarizes reports sent from Poland by the Home Army to the Polish government-in-exile in London, which informed them about the extermination of the Jews in Poland. Describes, as well, the mission of Jan Karski, and asserts that at the end of 1942 the Polish government-in-exile was well-informed about the situation in Poland. Deals with the reaction of the British Foreign Office and its political proceedings in order to formulate a declaration condemning the Nazi mass murder. Underlines the lack of belief on the part of President Roosevelt and the Allies in the facts presented, and their failure to act against the murder of the Jews. The main goal of the Allies was to win the war against Hitler, and military strategists rejected every action which did not lead to this directly.
