Kurzfassung:
Following the disputation at Barcelona in 1263, Nahmanides wrote several works intended to reinforce the confidence of his fellow Jews in their own faith and to teach them how to respond to the new missionizing assault. Examines two of his works. Shows that "Torat Hashem temimah, " thought to be Nahmanides' sermon delivered in the Barcelona synagogue just after the disputation, has no real relation to the issues raised in the disputation. On the other hand, his exegesis on Isaiah 52-53 is clearly a response, as he reassures Jewish readers that the Christian understanding of the Servant of the Lord passage is completely erroneous. Relates also to arguments raised in the disputation between Nahmanides and Pablo Christiani.
