Abstract:
Burchard was a Dominican priest and a pilgrim, probably from Germany, who stayed in Eretz Israel between 1274-1284; there he wrote his book called "Descriptio Terrae Sanctae". Burchard is one of the last pilgrims to travel to the Holy Land and write a full report before the fall of the Latin Kingdom in 1291.
