Abstract:
The manuscript London, British Library, Add. 18686, which contains the commentary on the First Prophets by Joseph Seniri, has also preserved two contracts dating from 1383 and mentioning a Jew from Toulouse, named Salomon Mossé. The presence of these documents, employed in the binding of the codex as guard-leaves, allows us to know a little more about this man, whose name appears many times in the notarial registries of the city. Indeed, it contributes to a better knowledge of his archival practices. The link that it has been possible to establish between this man and the codex also informs us about his intellectual concerns.
