Abstract:
The nazification of the law consisted of a shift of the existing legal order, which had been based on equality, toward the principle of "ethnic inequality" - against Jews, gypsies, homosextuals, and others seen by the Nazi leaders as not fit for German society. This was done slowly and indirectly, by interpreting or perverting the existing law to conform with the Nazi ideology.
