Abstract:
Based on Levinas' book "Difficult Freedom" (1990), argues that the philosopher justifies the moral superiority of the Jew as arch-victim of the Holocaust and of his "universal model of justice". Discusses Levinas' attacks not only against Western philosophy but also against paganism and its worst manifestation - Nazism. Paradoxically associates the victim with the will to power. Concludes by defining Levinas' faith as "triumphant Judaism".
