Abstract:
Discusses Fackenheim's philosophy as it evolved from 1967 on, when he expressed a post-Holocaust apologetic in which Jewish survival is championed over against an unrepentant Christianity, to a postmodern (1990s) "recentering" of Judaism and Christianity around a ruptured biblical text that they both share after the Holocaust.
