Abstract:
Mass propaganda was a central tool of Nazism. The Nazi leadership saw films as "the most important art" and used them to influence public opinion. Surveys the development of the Nazi film industry and analyzes the purposes for which the propaganda films were used. Mentions antisemitic films like "Jud Süss" and "Die Rothschilds" and the anti-Jewish stereotypes shaped by them.
