Family history and memoir of Hausmann and Weingartner families of cattle dealers from Flehingen in Baden. Descriptions of Jewish customs and community life. November 1938 pogrom. Some children go to England (Kindertransport). Emigration to the United States in December 1938. Description of the fate of other family members during Nazi period, several of them died in the Holocaust. Addenda with photocopies of family documents and photos.
