Abstract:
Discusses the transformation of Oskar Schindler, the hero of Steven Spielberg's film "Schindler's List", from a wartime speculator to a rescuer of Jews caught in the maze of the Nazi death machine, and this under the protection of the Nazi swastika badge. Emphasizes the importance of remembering the crimes, and the persons who tried to help the Jews, such as Schindler. States that in France, Heidegger, who collaborated with the Nazis, is held in high esteem, historical revisionism thrives, and nobody wants to remember that the camp of Struthof was on French territory.
