    Abstract: Examines early Christian anti-Jewish attitudes as they developed in the Jerusalem Church, especially during the the 4th-5th centuries and continuing through the Middle Ages. Jerusalem was a focus for anti-Jewish conceptions which found expression in Christian rituals and literature - e.g. because the Jews rejected Jesus they are to be persecuted, expelled, dispersed, subjugated, and disintegrated as a people, and forcibly converted.
