    Abstract: After the enactment of the Nuremberg Laws in Germany, couples involved in relationships categorized as "Rassenschande" sought refuge in Denmark. None of those cases were formally granted status as political refugees, but some couples were allowed to remain in Denmark until they obtained a visa to another country.
