Abstract:
The anonymous "Tractatus contra Iudaeos", also known as "Qui Ceptum" (Díaz 1214), of Spanish origin, is traditionally dated at the beginning of the 13th century. However, another manuscript of the 13th century has a quite different recension of this treatise which it dates in 760 or 766, indicating that the oldest version of "Qui Ceptum" would be from the 8th century. At that time there was a very important community of Judaizing "heretics" in Zaragoza. Concludes, though, that the most likely date of the text is, in fact, the 13th century.
