Abstract:
Briefly discusses Hebrew Holocaust poetry by Uri Zvi Greenberg, Sh. Shalom, and Avigdor Hame'iri, noting that the first two identify with the concept of the "hidden face" of God during the Holocaust. In contrast, the poet Itamar Yaoz-Keszt, who experienced the Holocaust as a child, sees it as the "revealed face" of God, as the beginning of Israel's redemption.
