Abstract:
Lev Raphael is considered one of Americaĺs earliest ůSecond Generationś writers, publishing fiction that explores the impact of the Holocaust on the children of survivors from the late 1970s onward. Having grown up in a world haunted by secrets and the ghosts of relatives and friends lost in the Holocaust, Lev Raphael decided to confront his family̷s past and traveled to Germany.
