Abstract:
Nils Hauser analysiert die Institution der Berliner Kriminalpolizei, ihre Rechtsgrundlagen und Praxis. Er zeigt, wie sich während der Weimarer Republik und im Nationalsozialismus die justizielle Polizei zu einer polizeilichen Justiz wandelte. Nicht zuletzt betrachtet er hierbei die kriminalpolizeiliche Judenverfolgung durch die Kriminalgruppe M unter Leitung Ernst Gennats.
