    Abstract: Neben der Berufsgruppe der jüdischen Juristen waren es vor allem jüdische Mediziner, gegen die sich der Antisemitismus in Deutschland ab 1933 richtete. In Folge des „Gesetzes zur Wiederherstellung des Berufsbeamtentums“ wurden jüdische Ärzte aus öffentlichen Einrichtungen entlassen und von den Hochschulen verwiesen. Der Band beleuchtet die Geschichte der Vertreibung, Entrechtung und Ermordung jüdischer Ärztinnen und Ärzte im Nationalsozialismus.
