Kurzfassung:
Discusses the activities of Grabski, Poland's Prime Minister and Minister of Finance in 1924-25, who tried to reform the system of state finances and to stop inflation at a time of very difficult economic conditions in Poland. Decreasing the taxes of big industrialists and increasing the taxes of small traders and craftsmen caused pauperization of, among others, a large part of the Jewish population. States that Grabski's position towards Jews was neutral, free of antisemitism or prejudice; disagrees with Jewish historians who interpret Grabski's reforms as anti-Jewish.
