Kurzfassung:
Jews played a significant role in the establishment of the Hungarian Boy Scouts Organization between 1909-12. However, from the beginning, there were few Jewish leaders and officers in the organization, and several anti-Jewish resolutions from 1936 urged the establishment of separate Jewish groups. The basic rules forbade the existence of mixed Gentile-Jewish groups. The protocols of meetings during 1940 show a demand for the dispersion of the Jewish groups altogether. The Hungarian Ministry of Interior's resolution of 15 November 1941 put an end to the Jewish Boy Scouts Organization.
