Abstract:
Altmann tells the story of the Jewish community in Nikolsburg starting in 1370. He focuses specifically on the history of the Altmann family, especially Siegfried Altmann's grandparents. The second part of the manuscript deals with stories of Rabbi Mordechai Benet (1753-1829) as told to the author by his grand-aunt.
