Childhood and family life in Germany. She was a student at the Sophien-Lyzeum (Girl's School) in Berlin and developed an early interest in sports. Kaethe Dan-Rosen was among the founding members of the Jewish women's sports association (Ifftus). Training as a gymnastic and sports teacher. Description of the Zionist sport movement in pre World War I Germany. Emigration to Palestine in 1922. Recollections of the life in Palestine in the 1920s. First hotel projects in Safed and Tel-Aviv.
