Kurzfassung:
In the form of a diary, Becker-Kohen describes her situation as a believing Catholic, regarded by Nazis as a Jewess. With her little child she had to leave Berlin during World War II and finds various places of refuge in Austria and Southern Bavaria. Thanks to her good relations with several Catholic priests she and her little child could be hidden during the last part of the war. After the war she reunited with her husband who had to work in labor camps, where he became severely sick and died shortly afterwards.
