Abstract:
The first part was written in Nymburk in 1903: Life of Josef Schulz in the village of Loucenice, Bohemia, and in Kolín. School education. Schulz helped in his father's business. Description of New Year's Eve party. The second part, written in 1924, deals with life in Czechoslovakia and Schulz's problems with remarriage.
