Abstract:
The text of "Sefer Nestor ha-komer" (ca. 900) is written as the story of a Christian priest (wrongly named Nestor in the Hebrew translation) who converted to Judaism and wrote a critical account opposed to the fundamental Christian doctrine regarding the nature of Jesus and the Trinity. The original version of the book was written in Judeo-Arabic with a translation to Hebrew The book had a considerable influence on subsequent Jewish polemics concerning Christian doctrine.
