Abstract:
Asserts that real Christian-Jewish dialogue in interwar Poland was very difficult because of antisemitism, missionarism, and Christian apologetics. Brings examples of some Christian authors, both Catholic and Protestant, whose writings dealt with the noxiousness of Christian antisemitism. They struggled with antisemitism, and proposed changes in the way of interpreting Judaism as a religion in Christian writings, dealing especially with those elements of interpretation crucial for relations between the two religions.
