    Abstract: Discusses the unprovoked attack against the Jews of Kunmadaras, Hungary on 21 May 1946. 18 Jews were seriously injured and three were killed in the pogrom. The people's court sentenced three leaders of the pogrom to death and four others to life imprisonment, but according to the final sentence of November 1946, the punishments were commuted to short-term imprisonment. The Kunmadaras pogrom was one of a series of attacks against Hungarian Jews after the Holocaust.
