Abstract:
Describes Hebrew books published by authors who were living in Transylvania in the period of the Austrian Empire, between the 17th-20th centuries, mainly rabbis who produced religious literature in Hebrew and some of it in Yiddish. Discusses, also, works written by immigrants from Transylvania to Israel (both before and after the state was established), in Hebrew, Yiddish or Hungarian (e.g. items which appeared in the newspaper "Uj kelet").
