Abstract:
The Italian fascist government's Super-Council voted for an anti-Jewish law at its meeting in Rome on 6-7 October 1938. The phases of legislation and the items of discrimination were similar to the German Nuremberg Laws. The law was accepted by the council of ministers on 11 November, and affected more than 40,000 Italian Jews. Discusses the phases of legislation and the items of discrimination in detail.
