Abstract:
Relates the history of what was possibly the world's first Orthodox Jewish hospital, founded in Budapest in 1920. Based on survivors' testimonies, relates the terrible events of 15 January 1945, when a killer squad, composed of Hungarian Nazis and SS, massacred 150 patients, doctors, and nurses, and then burned the hospital to the ground.
