Abstract:
Describes the conditions of life of Jews in Radom immediately after the Second World War. In June 1945 there were about 200 Jews in the city. Presents documents of the organization Okręgowy Komitet Żydowski (Jewish Regional Committee) from 1945-46 which testify to the insecurity of the Jewish population in Radom and its surroundings, relating, among other reasons, to the hostility of Poles towards them. Most of the Jews left the town, and Poland, especially after the pogrom in Kielce on 4 July 1946.
