Abstract:
The paper provides a critical review of the most important research books on Karaites and Karalsm published over the last decade. They relate to different periods in the history of Karaism-from the Middle Ages to the present day (from the to the 20 centuries) - various geographical areas - from the Middle East, through Byzantium to Central and Eastern Europe-as well as various aspects of the Karaites intellectual output-from Bible exegesis, through legislation and historiography, to religious thought and philosophy.
