Abstract:
Discusses an antisemitic memorandum written in the fall of 1945 by Szent-Iványi, the leader of an anti-Nazi organization (the Hungarian Independence Movement) that saved Jews during the war. After the war he became an antisemite. He revived the idea of the conspiracy theory and wanted to prevent Jewish rule (i.e. communism) in Hungary. Includes a biography of Szent-Iványi and a facsimile of the memorandum.
